What is your role within Welcomeurope?

I am in charge of the whole Eurofunding 2010 services published by Welcomeurope, in order to meet the needs of our clients. In fact, our tools evolve daily, regularly offering new tools and services, according to our subscribers\' suggestions. The European Fundings may be difficult to clearly understand, that is the reason why I try to advise people that need more information on the European funding opportunities available for their field of activity.

Could you make a brief presentation of the Eurofunding 2010 Guide?



Eurofunding 2010 Guide is an essential tool for the monitoring of European funding programmes. It is available in two forms:

The Internet Eurofunding 2010 tool which combines all the advantages of the Eurofunding programme sheets under electronic form. The programmes are presented in the same way as in the guide but with additional indications. Our monitoring service has a key place in the anticipation: it announces the forecasted period for the launch of the call for proposals; this enables people to apply for co-financing grants under European funds framework. Those calls for proposals are daily registered in our database and are available on our website, so people can be informed in real time on existing funding opportunities. Furthermore, the Funding Alerts, which is our added service for alerting people about the call for proposals published. Once a week, all calls for proposals are sent to each subscriber to their email address according to their profile. Finally, the Tender Alerts inform on the tenders published by the Community institutions. The Eurofunding guide 2010 in the paper format gathers the 2010 methodology for European project leaders as well as the Welcomeurope database on European funding programmes. Each programme is resumed in the form of practical sheet designed in a way to give the whole essential information to build up a European project. It enables organisations which are looking for information to know if they are eligible or not (kind of structure, structure’s region) and to obtain a description of the programme. It presents programme’s objectives, with which every project must match as well as the type of financed action, which enables the project leader to compare the programme to his project and thus, to see if there is compatibility.
