Pour plus d'information, contactez info@skregions.eu ARTICLE DISPONIBLE UNIQUEMENT EN ANGLAIS On the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of the House of Slovak Regions more than 80 artworks of contemporary Slovak artists will be presented by eight Slovak regions in Brussels during May and June. The official opening of the exhibition “Slovak Contemporary Art: Painting and Sculpture” under the auspices of Regional Presidents will take place on 4 May in the International Gallery Cobalt. The art exhibition will present a group of 23 artists born mainly in the 50th and the 60th of the last century. Most of the artists will exhibit their artworks in Brussels for the first time. Admirers of the contemporary art will be captivated by artworks, which illustrate the attractive varied creative world of paintings and sculptures created by Slovak artists. The Brussels public will have a possibility to visit this art exhibition in the International Gallery Cobalt until 27 May. Afterwards, the artworks will be transferred to the European Commission – the edifice Berlaymont. The exhibition in the European Commission will be opened by Commissioner Ján Figeľ and Regional Presidents on 6 June. This art exhibition under the auspieces of Commissioner J. Figeľ will last until 15 June.
